I have been an active player in the chess.com community since 2017. I learned to play chess back in 1962 in Cuba. In 1965 and 1966, I played in the National Student Championship. In 1967 became Havana University Champion but stopped playing for political reasons in 1968. In 1980, I came to the States and played for a while from 1983 to 1988, but my workload as an Electrical Engineer did not let me keep playing chess daily. I finally retired from work in 2011, and I have played chess on-off but not officially because travel was not an option. My experience as a coach is minimal. I have taught some adults tactics and strategies, but nothing heavy. I am not a heavyweight; my most remarkable experience is with kids in my community and from teaching at my grandchildren's church and school. I am not looking for students or get paid. That's not my intention. I  want to use better tools (I hope chess.com will offer them as a coach) to teach other volunteers in chess training or chess teaching.
